Gallery 2 – Snow Geese

New Mexico is home for the migratory snow geese during the months of November through January. The New Mexico open spaces and nature preserves are a great opportunity to see them in their habitat as they traverse from Canada to Northern Mexico. I have photographed thousands of the snow geese, and I have captured their expressive features and relationships while spending hours sitting near them. Through my watercolors, I try to convey a sense of peace and tranquility that I experience while also capturing their quirky expressions, thus my anthropomorphic titles.
